I have been teaching french for over 20 years and look forward to meeting you!

About Me

I enjoy teaching French and its culture to all types of learners, from teenagers to adults, at any level. Lessons are tailored to the ability and interest of each student.

I use the communicative approach, which means that everything you learn (vocabulary, grammar, etc.) is explained and then used in a dialogue which relates to your current situation and interests.

This approach makes learning particularly fun and memorable, because you will be learning and speaking French on a subject you are interested in, not just technical French and dry grammar.

I have a Masters Degree in Literature and Linguistics obtained in Paris.

My Experience

I have always enjoyed working with people, whether that is on a personal level or in a corporate setting. I tend to make lessons fun and centred around relevant topics of today.

My work experience includes many years of teaching French to corporate employees at all levels. These positions have required the effective use of acquired skills and a highly positive and motivated attitude. The ability to communicate well with corporate employees and co-workers alike has allowed me to quickly build rapport with them.

I have travelled throughout Europe, which has expanded as well as enhanced my cultural experiences. This has enriched my understanding of the diverse nature of individual thought and behaviour.
